Do you ever see a face in a random object? This is called pareidolia. It is a psychological anomaly, where a vague image or sound is recognized as significant. The most common example of this is seeing faces in inanimate objects. Our brain has this function in order to better identify human faces. The twitter account @FacesPics capitalizes on this strange phenomenon, posting photos of faces hiding in everyday things. Follow this account on Twitter and you’ll start to see faces everywhere!
