Whether we realize it or not, we often judge people by how they look or speak instead of listening to what they say. In the following experiment conducted by Coca-Cola, 6 people of very different backgrounds, interests, and nationalities were invited to see each other in a different light.

They were told to sit a table in the dark and converse. They couldn’t see each other, and so the only assumptions that were made were based on what they said about themselves.
But when the lights turned on, they were in for a surprise.

Powerful message. So powerful that I don’t mind it being a commercial for a soft drink.
