92-Year-Old Denied Access to His Money at Bank, Cop Drives Him to the DMV

A cop is receiving praise online after he decided to take action in driving an old man in need.

The Montebello police department was recently contacted after a 92-year-old was having trouble withdrawing money out of his bank account.

The man had an expired Californian ID and the bank was restricting access to his funds until he has a valid license.

The citizen started to cause a ruckus in the establishment and the police department was called to the scene to sort it out. Instead of escorting the man out from the bank, Officer Josett decided to drive the man to the local Department of Motor Vehicles where he was able to obtain a new identification card.

The officer then took him back to the bank and was able to withdraw the money before the bank closed. By doing so, the officer is now receiving praise for his actions which won’t go unnoticed.

Earlier today, officers responded to the Bank of America in Montebello regarding a patron who was causing a disturbance….
