Dad Buys His Daughter a Used Car, Then He Found a Heartbreaking Letter Inside

Like many fathers, Kevin Duke wanted to buy the perfect used car for his daughter, Jada, who was about to turn 16.

He finally found the right car, but he wanted to drive it around and test it for a while.

But as he was checking through all the compartments, he found an envelope he’d never seen before.

He carefully opened it, and the letter inside broke his heart.

Turns out, the writer’s mother owned the car before his family. She recently lost her mother, aunt, and six year old daughter in a fire and had to sell the beloved car to help pay for the funerals.

She even asked that if the family planned on selling the car, they should ask her first in case she could afford it down the road.

After Kevin read the letter, he knew he had to do something. He and Jada are trying to raise enough money to buy another car for her, and the letter writer will get her mother’s beloved car back.
