Orphaned Rhino Tries His Best to Imitate His Best Friend Lammie the Lamb Prancing Around

Gertjie, the baby rhino, is an orphaned rhino that was transferred to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre in South Africa. He was sent there when he was found lying next to his dehorned mother.

Despite his sad story, Gertjie now lives at the centre with his best friend: Lammie the lamb. The adorable friends love to prance and run around the centre. It’s important for rhinos like Gertjie to have animals to be friends with because it provides companionship and minimal human interaction.
