Reporter Spots Helpless Horses While Reporting on California Wildfires, Has to Intervene
The wildfires in California are scary, but at least there are people willing to be heroes when we need them most.
Kristine Lazar, a reporter with CBS Los Angeles, was reporting on the wildfires at a horse ranch when she and her cameraman realized the horses were stuck in the pen.
The flames drew closer and the ranch owner yelled for help.
Lazar and her cameraman immediately stopped what they were doing and helped out, leading the horses to safety.
The ranch owner later said they should be proud of themselves—and we agree!
