Cat Can’t Wait Any Longer and Takes It Upon Her Own Paws to Spring Out of ‘Jail’
Pawing at the glass, she wants to go home. Meet Rosie Azore, a young four-year-old cat that took it upon herself to get adopted with whatever means possible.
Rosie was fostered as a kitten with the Thorngreen Fosters in 2013 and was even adopted at the time. Being only a little kitten, she stayed with the family until about a year ago when she was returned to Purrfect Pals.
She and her brother were not getting along at home and she was the one to go. Adopted again soon after, in February, she was then returned because the granddaughter in the family had allergies. The family also had young children which didn’t suit this feline that would rather a calmer, adult only home.

She was looking for a cat-savvy person who wants to make her the queen of the castle and who understands her.
“Rosie has been known to give “love bites” which is another reason she needs someone with experience and who understands cats…She’ll love you immeasurably if you’ll spring her from “jail” and take her home!” says Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter on Facebook.
Fast forward a week later, the story of Rosie has been spread around on social media and a couple from Burien has happily adopted her!
When the husband saw Rosie on Instagram, he was instantly drawn to her even though the couple had not been looking for a cat at all. They lost a cat to cancer a few years ago and had not had one since.
“They are quite savvy about cat care and are willing to handle Rosie’s special diet”, says the page.
“Rosie will be their only pet and there are no young children in the home to disturb her. It looks like Rosie has finally found the perfect home and people!”
Thanks to the help of social media, Rosie had finally been ‘bailed’ out!
Rosie Wants Out!!!
Rosie Azore was fostered as a kitten with the Thorngren Fosters in 2013. She was adopted back then when she was a cute little kitten but returned to Purrfect Pals earlier this year as an adult because she and her brother were not getting along in the home. Adopted again in February, she was recently returned because a granddaughter in the family had allergies. Rosie does not care for other cats or dogs and wants to be the only animal in her household. This young four year-old girl needs a cat-savvy person who can understands she needs time to adjust to another new home and environment, and who wants to make her the queen of their castle. She was not happy in her most recent home where there were young children and a lot of activity and would do best in a calmer, adult only home. Rosie has been known to give “love bites” which is another reason she needs someone with experience and who understands cats. With all that said, Rosie Azore is a true cutie, who’s sweet and loving and is hoping someone will give her another chance at a safe, happy, forever home. If you want to help this little girl find happiness, come meet her at the Sammamish Petco. She’ll love you immeasurably if you’ll spring her from “jail” and take her home! UPDATE – ADOPTED
