Cicret Bracelet: Transform Your Forearm into a Touch Screen
Cicret is a French company that is on a mission to transform touch screens as we know them. They want to use a bracelet-sized interactive projector to make your forearm a touch screen. With the Cicret Bracelet, you can access various social networks, check your email, check the weather, access maps and GPS, and more.
It works via Bluetooth with your phone to mirror the screen, and can be used like a normal smart phone. Its touch capabilities make it the most discreet technology around. Your fingers work the way they would on your normal phone, and the projection is visible even in the day time. No darkness needed! The screen is propelled onto your skin using what is called pico-projection, which is basically a webcam and a laser pointer rolled into one.
They already have a working prototype, but they have yet to release a model to the public, as they are conducting additional research to make the product the best it can be.
