Cute Baby Orangutan Tries to Escape Its Mom, Quickly Learns It Was a Mistake

During parenting, there are times where your little one keeps squirming and wriggling out of your arms only to try and run away from you with their endless bundle of energy.

If that’s the case, I’m sure this orangutan mom is just as relatable. While it may be fun for the child to run from their mom, it’s exhausting as a mom to run around and chase after your kids all the time.

This clip filmed at the Jersey Wildlife Conservation recorded a beautiful (and hilarious) moment between a mother orangutan and her baby. At first, she’s supervising the baby playing on rope. Then, when play time is over, the mother is trying to bring her young one to the other side of the grassy area.

But, the baby orangutan had other plans.

At the end of the day, orangutans are similar to us, the mom always wins. From eating on a leaf relaxingly, to chasing after her young one, she can still handle it.
