Eric Thomas, or otherwise known as, “ET” is a critically acclaimed author, world-renowned speaker and educator. Though he’s had a lot of success for himself now, the 51-year-old PhD has overcome a lot throughout his life.

These struggles have shaped him into the man he’s become today and is a major part of the inspiration for him to become a motivational speaker.

ET now speaks to professional sports teams, CEOs, corporations, fans and even not-for-profit visits.

 
In the video below, ET decides to visit a high school in St. Louis, MO to share his words of wisdom.

But during his speech, some kids refused to give ET the respect he deserved of not talking and simply listening.

“I’ll be darned if I come here for free and you disrespect me.”

So ET decided to go on a complete impromptu and things got intense.
