Dog Almost Gets Hit by Car, Saviors Horrified and Call Groomer in Middle of Night

A Florida pet grooming shop showed its generosity recently by opening their shop in the middle of the night for an emergency hair cutting situation. Kari Falla, owner of BGE Grooming, noticed a post on a lost dog page about this dog that had almost been hit by a car and covered with matted fur that could be causing health issues with it. Falla reached out to take care of the fur situation and was manning the clippers shortly after!

“We can only imagine the amount of relief this baby is feeling after being relieved of all these painful mats! We knew it was an emergency as soon as we saw him!” said the staff at BGE Grooming, knowing that they had no time to waste.

“Pictures don’t even come close to showing how bad these mats were. They were soaking wet, infested with fleas, full of yeast infection and attached like a mummified cast. The smell was horrendous.”

After hours of cutting and shaving, the groomers were finally able to find his very cute face. Ever since, the dog has found a place to hang out at for a while as they set him up to be adopted for the long term. A true story of compassion and love to take care of anyone that comes through your doors!
