Emotional Carpool Karaoke with Linkin Park, Filmed Before Chester’s Death, Released

Back in July of this year the world lost a great artist when Chester Bennington, who had been struggling with depression, took his own life at the age of 41. The band now released a beautiful Carpool Karaoke video between Linkin Park (present were Chester, Mike Shinoda, and Joe Hahn) and Ken Jeong, known for his roles in The Hangover, Community, and Dr. Ken.

“With the blessing of Chester’s family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester.” writes Apple Music who posted the video on their Facebook page.

The One More Light Fund was created after Chester’s passing away and a tribute to him. Although a sore subject to speak about, it is important to talk openly about mental health issues because as you can see in this video, depression is not an externalized sickness and is often difficult to discern in individuals affected by it. In turn, Linkin Park has been using the platform to promote awareness to prevent any other tragedies like this from taking place.

Watch the carpool karaoke video down below and if you’d like to donate, we’ve linked to the One More Light Fund a little higher.
