In this video, YouTube personality Andrew Lloyd details what he used to get up to while his parents were away. He used the phone to prank call strangers, order food for his neighbors, book taxis for fake names, and rang a bunch of numbers he saw on TV. A few weeks later, he received a prize in the mail from one of the numbers he had called on the TV. This sparked an idea in his head and he decided to enter 1000 competitions.

With his phone privileges taken away by his parents, first the UK-based teen turned to magazines to find competitions, then the internet, then product packaging. He vowed to enter 20 competitions a day, never enter the same competition more than once, and to begin immediately. His efforts led to him winning four prizes – organic snacks, a movie on blu-ray, a weekend camping trip, and tickets to a rugby match.
