To Help People in Wheelchairs, Allgood Trio Creates Stairs That Transform into a Lift by the Push of a Button

Over 2.2 million Americans rely on using a wheelchair everyday. Simple tasks like grocery shopping, entering a building, taking children to school become difficult due to navigating with a wheelchair.

Allgood Trio created a way for wheelchair users to tackle one of the most common everyday issues: stairs.

Although there are ramps installed in some buildings, there’s still plenty of places where it’s not accessible for wheelchair users.

With the “Sesame Stairs”, wheelchair users can use the same stair entrance as others and it’s easy as 1-2-3. Simply push the button, and the stairs collapse into itself to reveal a hydraulic platform that lifts.
