If you travel to any major city or even city for that matter, you’re bound to run into a few street performers on the street. And some of them may even surprise you with a performance you’ve never heard/seen of.
But rarely, would you see a performance like this.
Jonny Walker is a street busker who’s performed on the streets for over a decade. Over the years, he’s gotten close to the community on the streets and even with the homeless.
In this particular performance, a homeless man named Bernard Davey came up to Walker and asked him to accompany him in his rendition of ‘Summertime’.
What happened next, blew everyone’s minds:
I've been busking in Leeds for over a decade and have gotten to know a few members of the homeless community during the time.
This is Bernard Davey, originally from Belfast, who came up to me and asked if I would accompany him for a version of 'Summertime'.
I was blown away by his voice and delivery and asked him if he wouldn't mind doing it once more for the camera.
He was happy to oblige.
I love moments like these.
I love my job.
