K9 Dog Serves Police Force for 10 Years, Gets Beautiful Final Salute from Colleagues

Dogs who work in their local police force’s K9 units are essential for solving tough cases, and when it’s their time to go, they deserve all the respect in the world.

K9 dog Hunter served the Middletown Police for 10 years, and he recently became sick. His human partner, Officer Michael D’Aresta, took him to the vet and learned he had an aggressive form of liver cancer.

Knowing Hunter had to be put down, the force decided to pay tribute to him the only way they could.
