One of the hardest things for parents to cope with is “cleaning day”. No matter how fun and enticing you can make “cleaning day” be, the kids always find a way to get out of it.

Whether it be “my friend invited me over”, “I have to work on a school project”, “I’ve got to get to practice quickly”, etc. They’ll always find a way.

That’s why this determined mom wanted to find the answer to how she could get her kids to actually clean on “cleaning day”.

And that’s when she came up with the perfect plan.

When this mom was preparing to go out for the day, she wanted to come home to a clean kitchen, so she left her kids a note.

It read:

“Today’s WiFi password can be unlocked by texting a photo of a clean kitchen to mom. Sent photograph MUST contain one box of crackers on the counter by the stove (to prevent re-using any previous photos).”

To finish off her beautifully written note, she gave it the proper ending it deserved:

“Thank you for playing. May the odds be in your favor. Love, Mom”

You go mom! She got them good. With no technology in their hands, they’ll have no choice but to finish their chores first!
