A truck driver from Winnipeg, Canada was stuck on a Manitoba highway in the middle of a snowstorm. He was freezing cold, had no food and was in the middle of nowhere.

It was then that Eileen Eagle Bears saw the highway cameras capture the stuck vehicle. She quickly packed a meal and coffee and grabbed her horse.

She rode her horse for miles out to the snow-covered road where Peter Douglas was stranded.

She gave him the food, then turned around to ride home.

The next day, she realized he was still there so she set out with new food and coffee.

Douglas was finally rescued after 28 hours.
