Giraffes are some of the savanna’s most lovable leaf eaters.
Back in 2008, some patrons of the Memphis Zoo were able to witness the birth of a reticulated giraffe. The mother, Sarabi, had given birth just a few months earlier and now welcomed a sibling for her first baby.
Much to the zookeeper’s surprise, the little baby began to walk just minutes after being born. Usually it takes babies about an hour.
