For some, it would be a dream come true to leave their lives behind to travel the world.
For most mothers, however, such a scenario would be a nightmare.
Belgian model Jonathan Quiñonez knew his mom might not be thrilled about his decision to quit his job and go traveling. Luckily, he had a solution:
Jonathan posts photos like these on Instagram in what could be described as a unique take on photojournals.
In each photo, Jonathan is seen having an adventure of some sort while either carrying a sign or displaying a message in some way with the text “mom, I’m fine”
While some photos seem to show Jonathan in a dangerous situation of some kind:
Many simply show him living the high life and loving every minute of it.
Jonathan recommends that anybody who is tempted to follow his lead, put their lives on the shelf, and go traveling should absolutely do it.
While his mom still worries about him, Jonathan says she’s supportive and glad to see him so happy.
