Marine Covers Girl with Body During Vegas Shooting, Gets Message from Her Sister Afterwards

The Las Vegas route 91 harvest festival mass shooting has been all over the news worldwide. With many stories coming out about what exactly happened that night, eyewitness accounts and heroic stories are starting to surface.

For a young woman by the name of Renee Cesario, it will always be an unforgettable night as she was harmlessly safeguarded by a guardian angel.
 

A few hours before the whole incident occurred, Renee and United States Marine Brendan Kelly spent the night together soaking up the carefree vibes and enjoying the music.

As the first shots began to ring out, confusion arose in the crowd and singer Jason Aldean stopped for a moment but kept playing, unknowing of the situation.

It was when the second round of shots came through that Brendan jumped atop Renee to shield her from the incoming array of bullets and was able to avoid the line of fire.
