Meerkat Doesn’t Like Cheetah, but Cheetah Thinks They’re Best Friends

Cheetahs and meerkats are definitely not the best of friends, but this cheetah clearly didn’t get the memo.

Kinji the cheetah is an unusually friendly animal. He truly likes making friends with everyone he meets—even if those friends don’t like him back!

He enjoys stopping over to visit the meerkats in their enclosure, but these meerkats clearly don’t appreciate his presence.

This one meerkat particularly dislikes Kinji—he tries to viciously attack Kinji, scratching at him and swiping at his ears.

But luckily for him, Kinji doesn’t realize that’s what’s going on. He thinks he’s getting groomed and starts to purr.

Hopefully for Kinji, he never understands how the meerkats really feel!
