Mom Thinks Autistic Son Will Never Get Picture with Santa, Then He Meets This Mall Santa

When your child is autistic, you know they won’t be able to experience things the way other kids do. You might think they’ll miss out on some iconic traditions, like meeting Santa and having a photo taken.

Erin Deely’s son Brayden is autistic—he can’t handle the crowded malls, long lines, and loud noises that come with meeting a traditional mall Santa. She had given up hope on ever getting a sweet photo with her son and the big jolly man himself.

Thankfully, she was proven wrong.

Deely brought her son to a special event in Charlotte, North Carolina where children with special needs can meet with Santa in a quiet room where they feel safe.

It’s so lovely to see holiday traditions be more inclusive!
