Mommy Eagle Realizes She Has a Baby Hawk in Her Nest, Her Reaction is Beautiful

In May, an amazing sight was caught on film by Lynda Robson.

Hawks and eagles typically don’t get along very well. They’re notorious for ransacking each others’ nests and hurting the young chicks.

Yet, when this mama bald eagle finds a tiny baby hawk has made its way into her nest, she has an unnatural reaction.

She decides to feed the lonesome little baby, like he’s one of her own.

Experts from a bird sanctuary think that the baby hawk was supposed to be dinner, but the mother changed her mind and began raising it with her eagle chicks.
