It’s crazy to think about how one decision can affect a person’s life forever.

Take Susan Thompson, for example. 20 years ago, she found out she was pregnant with quintuplets. Many healthcare professionals suggested, for the safety of her and her babies, that she undergo selective reduction so that she would birth twins or triplets instead. While selective reduction is a completely valid option that many people choose to undergo, Susan decided it wasn’t for her and that she would do everything in her power to birth all 5 of her future children.

20 years later, she does not regret her decision one bit. Her story just goes to show that when it comes to child birth, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Everyone has to make whatever choice works best for them. Read Susan’s story below!
