Being the descendants of vikings, it should come as no surprise to anyone that Norwegians can brave cold temperatures. To go along with the giant stature, they also have giant hearts as this one clearly demonstrates. A poor duck was spotted mostly limp under the ice.

While diving for food, the duck probably got lost and trapped under the thin sheet of ice. Spotting this as it unfolded, this Norwegian man didn’t think twice before jumping into freezing water to try and rescue the trapped bird. Thankfully, Lars Jørun Langøien managed to save it and shrugged off the freezing temperatures as though they were a pleasant bath.
