As the saying goes, a picture says a thousand words. What’s less known however is that a photo can also be shaped by the person behind the camera far more than what’s in front of the camera itself. Seeking to illustrate this, Canon Australia invited six different photographers to a portrait session with a bit of a twist.
Each photographer was invited to do a photo shoot with a man named Michael. Each of them were given a different story for the same man. They ranged from being a prisoner to a self-made millionaire. The results are enlightening. Each photograph gives a completely different perspective for the same man. It’s a thought-provoking experiment to try and shift creative thinking behind the lens.
