Earlier this morning, Kensington Palace officially announced Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement, with a royal wedding set for spring 2018.

To celebrate the announcement, the happy couple posed for their first official photos and answered a few questions about the engagement.

When a reporter asked how they felt, Prince Harry said they were “thrilled,” joking they were “very glad it’s not raining.”

The beautiful engagement ring was designed by Prince Harry himself and features a center stone from Botswana and two other stones from the late Princess Diana’s collection, according to People.
