There are so many folks among us who make our day better. It’s often just a little thing, but at the time it helps us so much. With all the bad things in the world, it’s nice to stop every once in a while and remember that there is goodness around us, and it helps us all.

Sarah is a single mom, a resident of Concord, New Hampshire, and works as a waitress. When a government shutdown in Washington left some National Guard members unpaid for their daily work in the community, Sarah stepped in and offered to pay for their meal as a small token of thanks for their service.
