10-Year-Old Saves School Bus Of 27 When Crashed Into An Alligator Pond

On a Thursday afternoon, about a mile away from Mary E. Bryant Elementary School, a school bus overturned and crashed into a pond with 27 kids and the bus driver on board.   One of those kids was Nicholas Sierra, a 10-year-old boy. He recalls that the bus went down the road and hit a tree, flipping the bus and landing in the pond.   The pond is known to be deep and home to 10-12 foot long alligators.
