Injured Marine Holds Salute For 3 Hours To Pay Tribute To Our Soldiers

Staff Sergeant Tim Chambers is known as the Saluting Marine. Chambers earned this nickname for his important role in the Annual “Ride for Freedom” held in Washington, D.C. every Memorial Day. Sergeant Chambers stands on the side of the road as bikers pass, holding his salute for anywhere from three to four hours. The Sergeant has become a fixture at the event.
