True, almost everyone has bought a borderline expensive sandwich in their time; but making one that’s got a huge value to it seems like something could be wrong. This however, is a case of message over means.

Here is a man who set about not only growing his own vegetables, sourcing his own ocean water, milking a cow for cheese, harvesting and milling wheat so he could eventually make bread, and even went as far as sourcing his own chicken to eat. Watching this young man’s experience and food experiment is fun in and of itself, but it’s also a fabulous insight into the work that goes into our daily food intake and reveals the true cost and time scale of our food.
