Woman Loses All Hope When She Crashes Her Car In Rural Area, Then A Stray Dog Comes To Rescue Her

If you’ve ever had a dog, you know how loyal they can be—they’re your best buddies, no matter what.

Turns out, that loyalty extends to complete strangers.

Shannon Lorio was driving on a few winding rural roads one day when she took a curve too fast and shot through an embarkment, landing in a ditch.

Because Lorio was in the middle of nowhere, she had no idea if she’d be able to get help or if she could even walk.

But then, an angel in the form of a stray dog—appropriately named Hero— appeared and literally dragged her to safety.

Lorio couldn’t adopt Hero herself because she already had six dogs, but Hero is currently training to become a search and rescue dog.
