Woman Shot in Head During Vegas Shooting, Awakens from Coma, Family Now Seeking Help

The bullet went through her eye and penetrated her brain, sending her into a coma. Frost was taken to the Las Vegas’ Sunrise Hospital the day of the shooting, where she has gone through two surgeries.

The neurosurgeon operating on her feared the worst after looking at her injuries and wasn’t sure if she would make it or not.

Now that she has awakened from her coma, a GoFundMe page has been set up for her to receive proper treatment of her injuries.

On Oct. 19, an update on Frost’s condition was posted by her family:

“On another note, Tina took 163 steps yesterday, smiles sometimes, hugs her dad and puckers her lips for Austin! Occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy are all working with Tina and she is just a true warrior! The next few days will be recovery and hanging out! Tina Tough.”

Tina lives in San Diego where she works as a CPA.

She has now moved to Johns Hopkins in Maryland to be closer to her family where they hope for a speedy recovery.
