90-Year-Old Kindergarten Teacher Is Surprised to See Former Student on TV 30 Years Later
Most people don’t keep in touch with their kindergarten teachers. Usually you stop seeing them after kindergarten or, if your kindergarten is in the same building as your primary school. One reporter, however, had the surprise pleasure of reuniting with his kindergarten teacher 30 years later.
Upon seeing Cory Hepola on KARE 11, 90-year-old Lorly Schik reached out to his parents to congratulate them and him on his successes in life. This letter started a chain of events that led to an unlikely reunion between teacher and pupil.
Together, the pair reminisced and shared memories about Cory’s time in kindergarten. Mrs. Schik showed Cory some pictures and letters from his parents that she has still kept since his time back then.
