Boy Abandoned at School on His Birthday, So Cop Comes and Takes Him to McDonald’s

It was probably the worst day of this boy’s life, but thankfully there was a kind person there to see him through it.

An eight year old boy in Green Bay, Wisconsin wasn’t picked up at the end of the school day. With his parent in jail and no other known contact, the school called the police.

And to make things worse, this happened on his birthday.

When Officer Robinson got to the school and learned what had happened, he knew what he had to do—he took the boy for a cheeseburger at McDonald’s to celebrate his birthday.

The officer eventually found the boy’s grandfather, but he managed to turn an awful day into something memorable for all the right reasons.
