Bridesmaid Spots Gosling Snatched by Swan, Jumps in Lake with Dress On

 
Whenever a bride ends up in a lake during a wedding photoshoot, it’s usually not a good sign. Especially for the big day, you want to make sure everything is perfect and presentable.

In this case, a bridesmaid hesitated but jumped into a lake during a photoshoot to save a gosling.

A black swan had snatched a gosling away from it’s parents and was trying to drown it. “Since I was facing the lake, I managed to see the whole thing go down,” Rosie said. “At first there was horrendous squawking from the parent geese, followed by lots of splashing.”

She called for help knowing that she was still in her bridesmaid dress but when she saw no help on the way, she jumped into action.
 

 
Feye West, the bridesmaid, was able to scare off the attacking swan and returned the gosling back to its mother.

Climbing out for the lake, she received a big round of applause and cheering and was welcomed back a hero.
