Everyone Thinks the Motionless Dog on the Counter Is Fake, So His Dad Wrote a Sign

Whenever the owner of a shop has a pet lying around, we often see it as the cutest thing ever. From a dog walking around the store to a cat just lurking around, we want to touch and feel it because of it’s cuteness.

In this bookstore in New York, the owner brings in his 8 year-old German Spitz named Chester in with him everyday for the past three years.

Chester is tiny, fluffy and mostly sleeps all day, which is why many people that come into the shop ask if he’s real.

Chester’s owner and staff of the bookstore has been asked so often that they finally decided to create a sign for him. He acts as the ‘official greeter’ and often lays on the front counter most the days.

He is loved by the many who visit the shop and is often photographed in his calm, quiet state.

The sign claims he doesn’t mind being petted and just by looking at chester, it’s no wonder why you wouldn’t want to caress him.
