Elderly Choir Goes to Local Prison. Their Moving Performance Leaves Tough Inmates in Tears

Most people are afraid to go to a prison—after all, they aren’t known as the safest places on earth. But some people can put all that aside and try and create a magical moment.

The choir Young@Heart is known for having older members—they range in age from 73-91—and they tend to have experience interacting with people in all walks of life.

And they were able to share their compassion with the hardened criminals inside the prison system.

The choir performs at a variety of locations and at different shows, but this performance at a local prison singing Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” is particularly beautiful—you’ll definitely need tissues for this.

Watch the moving performance in the video down below.
