Kindergarten Girl Raises Money to Help Foster Kids, Then Teacher Calls Her Up for a Special Gift

Anyone who doesn’t think kids can change the world needs to watch this video.

A’Layah Robinson is a kindergarten student who used to be in the foster system. She’s found her forever home, but she knows there are far too many children who are still shuffled from foster home to foster home.

So she decided to do something about it—she created Lemonade for Love, where she sells lemonade in order to send care packages to kids still in foster care.

They come filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, a Bible, a blanket, and a stuffed toy.

Her teachers have noticed all the good work A’Layah’s doing, and decided to reward her in front of the whole school.
