Popular Drink Leaves Hole In Dad’s Skull, Nearly Killing Him Before Meeting Newborn Son

 
Most people consume energy drinks daily, but they usually don’t expect the drinks to lead them to the brink of death.

Austin, a young husband and expectant father, found himself straddling the line between life and death thanks to his daily habit.

In a letter posted on Facebook, his wife Brianna wrote that he had recently started consuming energy drinks excessively. Austin had started working longer hours and commuted to and from work daily, forcing him to rely on the drinks to stay awake.

He was rushed to the hospital with a brain hemorrhage, but doctors initially couldn’t figure out why an otherwise healthy young man was bleeding from his brain.
 

Once the doctors realized the energy drinks were to blame, Austin was rushed into brain surgery and he began a two-week long hospital stay.

While all this was going on, his baby was just a few weeks away from being born.
 

“But a beautiful miracle happened as I delivered our son. Austin woke up,” Brianna recalled.

After two months of operations and procedures, Austin finally met his newborn son.

 
“Love is knowing you would sacrifice things that you didn’t even know you could sacrifice,” Brianna bravely shared. “Love is selfless.”
