Teen Singing for Britain’s Got Talent Surprised by His Dad at Audition

Whenever you have a big event, it’s important to have the people you care about there to cheer you on.

But sometimes they can’t be there for whatever reason, and it’s incredibly hard to go on without them.

When teenage singer-songwriter Reuben Gray auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, he thought his biggest fan—his dad—wouldn’t be able to come.

He stepped onto the stage to begin and he was interviewed by the judges before he sat down at the piano to perform his original song “Lifeline”.

Then, Simon Cowell asked him if his dad was a bigger fan of his music than his mother. Before he could fully answer, he heard a surprisingly familiar voice from the crowd.

It was certainly a moment he will never forget.
