Vet Frees Chained Horse, Never Expects Horse to Give Him the “Thank You” of a Lifetime

In Romania, chaining horses by their front or hind legs is a common practice to hinder them from running away. This leaves the wild horses bound by chains, unable to roam freely and get the love and attention they deserve.

When this vet from Four Paws, Ovidiu Rosu saw this horse in chains, he knew he had to set it free from this misery. The chains were restricting the horse in such a way that the metal began to irritate its skin.

A wild horse like the one Rosu found has so much energy to run in the wild, yet he was being chained up in one spot, it was incredibly sad to watch.

Luckily, the horse wasn’t chained for too long before he would receive the care and attention he needed from vet Rosu.

The wild horse was so thrilled to be set free, it looked directly into Rosu’s eyes and you could see how thankful it was.

Thanks to vet Rosu and organizations like Four Paws, some of these horses like the one in the video are able to be set free from their chains and live happy lives once again.
