Whale Thanks the Divers Who Untangled It in the Most Precious Way

Animals are remarkable creatures. People like to think they don’t feel things the same way as humans do, but videos like these prove that theory wrong.

James Moskito and other volunteers spent nearly five hours untangling a whale from crab nets near the Farallon Islands.

But it’s what comes after that’s truly amazing.

After being rescued, the whale decides it has to thank the divers accordingly—by going to each one and nudging them gently.

It’s a beautiful gesture that has to be seen to be believed!
